Frequently Asked Questions

Are you in network with my insurance?

Maybe! We have a mix of clinicians that do accept insurance and those that don’t accept insurance. Check out our Meet the Team page to get a quick overview of which clinicians take insurance or not (and each of their pages to see which plans specifically).

Additionally, we are actively in the process of credentialing with various insurance carriers, so the list of what we are able to accept is always changing. We will update the website as applicable, but you are always welcome to contact your carrier and ask about coverage with any of our clinicians.

Why do some therapists take insurance and others don’t?

Our clinic has a unique mix of ‘traditional’ group practice methods while also supporting therapists in their own private practice. Because of this revolutionary mix of practice models under our umbrella, some clinicians utilize our insurance contracts while others choose to maintain their own. Some others still choose to maintain a fully private pay model.

Check out our Meet the Team page for a quick overview of who takes insurance and who doesn’t.

Check out our For Providers page for more information on our how our group works!

How do I join?

If you are a fully licensed clinician looking for a place to call your professional home, reach out to us via email or Clinician Inquiry Form on the Contact page. We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you have questions about how our practice works, don’t forget to check out all of the information and resources on our For Providers page!

Can I rent office space from you?

Our membership and contractor positions come with access to assigned shifts in a shared office. We are not currently equipped for anyone to have their own office space, nor do we offer sublets in and of itself. All access to office space comes as a benefit to being a member or contractor with Iridescent.

Do you help with billing and credentialing?

Our Billing and Compliance Consultant, Michael Merriam, is always happy to help Iridescent clinicians learn and understand the billing and insurance side of the business. He frequently attends our weekly staff meetings to both give us recent headlines of the goings on in that world, as well as to answer any individual questions folks may have. The amount of hands on help provided by Michael depends on whether you are a member or a 1099 contractor with us, but either way he will have your back!

What’s with the peacock?

Peacocks symbolize abundance and prosperity, an appropriate energy for our providers and the people we serve.  Also, not only are they gorgeous to admire, but actual peacocks can be awkward, noisy, and provocative.  This dual nature of strange beauty is an appropriate representation of us, our clients, and the work we do.
